Six Fresh Eye Artists featured in I AM exhibition

Danielle Day, Daryl Hoffman, Paul Macharia, Becca Seevers, Josh Selvig, and Dorinda Tveit will all be featured in the upcoming I AM exhibition.

The United States District Court for the District of Minnesota, in collaboration with Fresh Eye Gallery, presents I Am, a juried group exhibition of work created by artists with developmental disabilities living in Minnesota.

The I Am exhibition celebrates the diversity of the human experience. From individuals to large organizations, all of us benefit from a more inclusive, equitable world. By amplifying the voices of people with developmental disabilities, we acknowledge their expertise in their own creativity, experiences, ideas, and challenges. With this exhibition, our goal is to showcase and celebrate artists with disabilities living in Minnesota and foster education and understanding in the community as a whole.

The Court’s Disability Law Program is part of the District of Minnesota’s Public Outreach Committee’s work, and is co-sponsored by the Minnesota Governor's Council on Developmental Disabilities, the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, the Minnesota Disability Bar Association, and MSS.

Join us for the opening reception on Tuesday, March 19, 5-7 p.m. at the Diana E. Murphy U.S. Courthouse. The reception and exhibition are both free and open to the public. The accessible entrance is on 3rd Ave S, on the northwest side of the courthouse.
